The Shannon Barnett Quartet was selected to record a full set of music at the WDR in Cologne for this year’s Jazzfest Berlin Online Edition. It turned out very nice and we had a great time playing. The video is available on the Arte concert website. Please check it out.

SCHMID's HUHN - small series
SCHMID’s HUHN will be playing five nights in a row at Club Subway, Cologne. The SJO\CGN small series starts on Wednesday September 16th and ends on Sunday September 20th. You can get tickets trough Eventim. We’ll be playing a totally new program and in the second set the fabulous FEARLESS TRIO (with Johannes Ludwig, Simon Nabatov and Fabian Arends) will present their music.

Playing Duo has been a new thing during these difficult times in order to meet the social distancing rules. Lars Duppler and I used the chance to create new material. Here are some videos of us performing mainly icelandic traditional music.

The second part of our GOLDEN SPHERES release tour started in Mannheim last week. We had a wonderful time at Klapsmühl'. Great pictures once again by Uli Templin and nice review in the "Mannheimer Morgen".
